- A decrease in the net profit of quarter 1 of 2007 compared to quarter 4 of 2006 was affected by the recognition in quarter 4 of 2006 of the 717,656.9 million ruble adjustment in the valuation of shares at fair market value as well as a decrease in the amount of transmission fee for the services provided by RAO UES of Russia in connection with organizing the functioning and development of the Unified Power System of Russia from 48.72 rubles/MWh in 2006 to 27.93 rubles/MWh as from January 1, 2007 (approved by resolution of the Federal Tariff Service of the Russian Federation No. 299-e/2 dated November 24, 2006)
