Moscow, 27 December 2006. Ordinary shares of OAO "Territorial Generation Company No. 1" ("TGC-1") start trading on the RTS Exchange Market effective today and the RTS Classical Stock Exchange with effect from 9 January 2007, respectively. TGC-1 shares have been included in the Part of the Schedule "Securities Admitted to Trading But Not Included in Quotation Lists".

OAO "TGC-1" was registered on 25 March 2005 in St.-Petersburg. The Company is headed by Valery Rodin. On 1 November 2006, Petersburg Generation Company, Kolskaya Generation Company, Karelenergogeneratsiya, and Apatitskaya CHPP completed their merger with and into TGC-1.
