Moscow, Russia – July 26, 2011 – Sistema (the “Company”) (LSE: SSA), the largest diversified public financial corporation in Russia and the CIS, today announces that it has been included in the prestigious Fortune Global 500 list for the second consecutive year.
Fortune Global 500 is an annual ranking of the world’s 500 largest corporations, and is compiled and published by Fortune Magazine, based on companies’ consolidated revenues.
Sistema was ranked number 342 in the 2010 edition of the Fortune Global 500 list, with consolidated full year 2010 revenues of US$ 28.099 billion, which represents a 118 place increase from the previous ranking.
Sistema is also ranked 26th out of the world’s 50 fastest growing companies in terms of revenue growth, and is the only Russian company out of the seven Russian businesses on the Fortune Global 500 list to be included in this list.
