Conference with representatives of independent oil producers on feasible construction of a new Kharyaga –Usa oil pipeline to move crude from Timan and Pechora region was held on July 29 in Transneft’s office. Transneft represented its project on construction of the new Kharyaga-Usa pipeline with potential capacity of 13 million tons and at the cost of RUR22 billion, which can be built in parallel with the existing one.

The pipeline is supposed to transport growing crude volumes from independent oil producers of this region. According to results of the conference, held under the initiative of “AssoNeft”, it was decided to create a Working group to further develop options of the project practicability.
