In the Orenburgenergo branch of “IDGC of Volga”, PJSC (a member of Rosseti), the first charging station for electric cars in the region was installed near one of the shopping complexes. The equipment of the station is made by a Russian enterprise. For installation and commissioning, the manufacturer sent a technical specialist to Orenburg. Commissioning and initial adjustments lasted about an hour.

An ordinary native of Orenburg, the owner of an electric car, was invited to the trial “refueling-charging”.

- One year ago, I found out about a program for development of a network of electric charging stations, which Rosseti, PJSC developed in regions, – said Andrey. – I am glad that such a station finally appeared in Orenburg. I did not charge my car since yesterday.

 All work was carried out under the supervision of specialists from the Orenburg Operating Department: the substation, from which electric cars will receive power, is on the balance of this division of Orenburgenergo.

In October, the power engineers are going to put the charging station into trial operation.
