ROSSETI

February 12, 2019

The Management Board reviewed the priority areas for ROSSETI's operational activities and got acquainted with the specific results of the Group’s operation in 2018

On February 11, 2019, an in-person meeting for the ROSSETI's Management Board was held at company's headquarters, chaired by the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak. During this meeting, preliminary financial and production results of the Group’s activities in 2018 were summed up. The report on the holding's work outcomes was presented by the head of the company Mr.Pavel Livinskiy.

The ROSSETI's Director General noted that during the reporting period, the Group implemented a wide range of measures in order to increase the operational and investment efficiency of the power grid complex, improved reliability indicators, as well as its financial and economic condition.

New approaches to developing production personnel skills were proactively introduced, including large-scale exercises to improve the reliability and quality of power supply to consumers. Such exercises will become the annual stage of preparation for the stable passage of the autumn-winter load maxima.

Mr. Pavel Livinskiy paid special attention to the strategic task set by Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation, on the digital transformation of the domestic power grid complex. In 2018, implementation of the first projects started. Also, the best practices tested successfully started to be replicated in the regions where the ROSSETI Group was present.

“For ROSSETI, the provision of electricity supply services at the highest level remains an unconditional priority. "In 2018, we successfully implemented a set of measures to further improve production performance. Which, I am sure, has been noticed by all consumers. "This had a positive effect on the financial results of the holding. "The strategic decision of last year was the approval by the ROSSETI's Board of Directors of the Digital Transformation 2030 concept. The holding has already begun to implement this concept actively. "This will allow us to bring the quality of the services rendered by us to a new level,” said Pavel Livinskiy, in commenting on the main areas of work in 2018.

Also, an important issue on the agenda of the Board of Directors was the approval of updated plans for the ROSSETI's subsidiaries development, namely, Yantarenergo JSC, IDGC of the North Caucasus PJSC and IDGC of the South PJSC
