Utility connection to power grids is one of the main activities of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (included in the Rosseti Group). Last year, power engineers fulfilled obligations under 17,519 contracts, providing individuals and legal entities with more than 618.77 MW of capacity.
A large part of the executed contracts accounted for privileged consumers. Among the major projects implemented in 2018 are utility connection of housing construction projects in the Orenburg, Penza, Ulyanovsk regions and the Chuvash Republic.
A significant contribution was made by power engineers in the development of agriculture, providing electricity reclamation system in the Saratov region, greenhouses and meat processing plant in the Republic of Mordovia, the plant for the sunflower production of oil in the Samara region. Solar power stations in the Saratov and Orenburg regions are connected to power grids. Oil production facilities in Orenburg and Samara region are provided with electricity. In the same regions, high-tech industrial enterprises have been provided with additional capacity.

Applications submission for utility connection in electronic form through the Personal Account is becoming an increasingly popular service.
