Over 27 to 28 May, Alexander Ryazanov, Deputy Chairman of Gazpromís Management Committee held in Moscow and Tyumen a meeting of the RF regional top officials of fuel and power complex. The meeting was attended by Sergey Sobyanin, Governor of the Tyumen region, Viktor Ilyushin, Gazpromís Management Committee Member and Head of Gazpromís Department of Relationships with the RF Regional Authorities, over 50 fuel and power complex heads from 34 Russian regions, representatives of the RF Government and the Zapsibgazprom company.
The meeting was called to order on May 27, at Gazpromís Headquarters and the participants got to know businesses of Gazpromís Central Dispatch Management Center. On 28 May, the meeting resumed in the town of Tyumen. The parties addressed issues on the gas distribution networks construction and operation as well as on the introduction of highly efficient and environmentally-safe gas usage technologies.
In the course of the meeting, specialists from Zapsibgazprom, a Gazprom subsidiary, presented state-of-the-art gas supply network development methods and technologies: a horizontal drilling unit, polyethylene pipes welding and gas pipeline pressurized cutting-in.
The parties visited facilities producing polyethylene pipes, infrared radiators and other output intended as for the gas industry workers as for natural gas consumers.
In summing up the meeting outcomes, Alexander Ryazanov stressed that attraction of investments into the RF regional gas consumption intensification was barred by low gas prices hurdling prompt return on the funds invested.
