TMK, one of the world’s leading producers of energy tubulars, announces today that it successfully certified seamless line pipe to the DNV-OS-F101 offshore standard. The certification of seamless line pipe from TMK Volzhsky was carried out by Det Norske Veritas.

The DNV-OS-F101 offshore standard gives criteria and guidance on concept development, design, construction, operation and abandonment of submarine pipeline systems.

The DNV offshore certification applies to both welded and seamless pipe production and is essential for projects such as the Nord Stream, Bovanenkovo–Ukhta, Dzhubga-Lazarevskoye-Sochi and Sakhalin-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok subsea pipeline systems as well as the development of the Shtokman field.
