New appointments in STREAM-TV

16 ìàðòà 2009, Moscow: COMSTAR – United Telesystems (COMSTAR-UTS, LSE: CMST), the leading provider of integrated telecommunication services in Russia and the CIS, announces that the Board of Directors of STREAM-TV, a member of COMSTAR-UTS, has approved Dmitry Bagdasaryan as new Deputy Director General and Commercial Director of STREAM-TV and Anatoly Krajnev as new Deputy Director General and Management Director for Central Macro Region. They have been appointed to these posts by the order of STREAM-TV’s Director General and started execution of their duties on March 11.

Both posts have been recently introduced by STREAM-TV according to the new staff pattern of the company. Before Mr. Bagdasaryan held a post of Marketing Director of STREAM-TV. Mr. Krajnev before his joining to STREAM-TV was the Director for Management and Business Development of branches and affiliated companies of COMSTAR-UTS.

Victor Koresh, Regional Development Vice President of COMSTAR-UTS and Director General of STREAM-TV, says “STREAM-TV faces a number of challenges, including restructuring of the Group, promotion of Internet and pay-TV services in all regions of presence, launching new services, transition to a COMSTAR brand, and introduction of the Group-standardized quality standards. We build a team of adherents which is capable to promptly reach all the defined purposes. Thus we engage professionals who have been working in STREAM-TV and COMSTAR-UTS for a long period of time, perfectly know both the companies, their employees as well as the regional market, have a wide experience in the telecom industry. Dmitry Bagdasaryan has to solve the problem of active development and sales of broadband Internet and pay-TV services in all regions of presence. Anatoly Krajnev will be responsible for COMSTAR’s business development in one of the largest and most economically developed macro regions – Central Federal District.”

Dmitry Bagdasaryan was born in 1979. He graduated from the Tashkent Electrotechnical Institute of Communication, Volga Region State Academy of Telecommunications and Computer Science, LINK – International Institute of Management, business school under Open University of Great Britain. He has a degree of Cand.Tech.Sci. He started his career in 2000 in ORT Technological Centre in Samara where he was a programmer, then he joined to SMARTS where till 2007 he occupied the posts of operator in Subscriber Department, MSC engineer of 1 category, Chief of New Technologies Service, Marketing & Sales Director. In 2007 he joined the corporate centre of MTS as the Director for Marketing Unit Projects; since February 2008 he was the Marketing Director of STREAM-TV.

Anatoly Krajnev was born in 1951. He graduated from the Bonch-Bruevich Leningrad Electrotechnical Institute of Communication. He has a wide experience in the telecom industry. In 1997-2003 he held a post of the Director General in Novgorod Telecommunications, then he was Deputy Director General in Mobikom-Centre (MegaFon Nizhniy Novgorod), in 2004-2007 he worked in PeterStar as Regional Development Director. He joined COMSTAR-UTS in 2007 as the Director for Management and Business Development of branches and affiliated companies.
