Conference of Nizhnkekamskneftekhim working staff was held to conclude the collective agreement for 2005

Conference of Nizhnekamskneftekhim working staff was held on January 25 to finalize the results of implementation of 2004 collective agreement and to conclude the new one for this year.
The participants of the conference were Mr. V. Busygin, general director of the company, Mr. V. Shuiskiy, chairman of the company’s trade union committee, Mr. R. Mavlekov, chairman of the republican trade union committee of Tatarstan chemical industry and managers of the company’s divisions.
V. Busygin reported the results of financial and economic activities of the joint-stock company. In 2004 the commercial production output amounted to 31 billion 596 million rubles at Nizhnkekamskneftekhim Inc. The growth of its physical volumes is 4.75% compared to the previous year.
The expected balance sheet profit based on the results of the previous year will also be the record-breaking one: for the first time in the history of the joint-stock company it is intended to make a profit of 6 billion 200 million rubles compared to 3 billion rubles according to plan.
Based on the collective agreement in 2004 86 million rubles were used for overalls and special footwear, 191 million rubles for housing construction, 47 million rubles for financial support of departmental sanatorium, recreation centers and about 40 million rubles for treatment at sanatoria and health resorts.
According to the agreement on occupational health protection last year all 23 procedures aimed at improvement of safety and working conditions were fulfilled as specified in the collective agreement, more than 2 million rubles were spent for implementation of those instead of 1 million 960 thousand rubles as planned.
V. Shuiskiy, chairman of Nizhnekamskneftekhim trade union, reported that bilateral commitments of collective agreement 2004 were fully fulfilled.
Mr. M. Meshalkin, head of oligomer plant trade union, and Mr. R. Mavlekov, chairman of republican industrial trade union committee, took part in the discussion of the reports.
The delegates of the conference passed a resolution that the collective agreement of 2004 was fulfilled at full scope and they drew up a collective agreement for 2005.
Collective agreement of 2005 maintains all the privileges and payments of last year’s agreement. Additionally it is planned to increase the scope of housing construction for the company employees and increase the amount of loans for young families and provide 70 thousand dollars for purchasing of medical equipment for multiple-discipline municipal hospital.
Delegates of the conference also approved the supplements to the Internal Labor Regulations, members of committees for labor disputes and social insurance were elected and the estimate of expenditures of Nizhnekamskneftekhim trade union was approved for 2005.
