On January 26 - 29, 2005 ALROSA is for the first time participating as an exhibitor in the annual "IJT - International Jewellery Tokyo".

ALROSA is bringing a unique collection of polished diamonds and diamond jewellery to the Japanese capital. As part of its display it will also present polished diamonds and jewellery by Kristall Smolensk, leader of the Russian diamond cutting and polishing industry and its long-standing partner.

The delegation is headed by vice-presidents Serguei Oulin and Youri Dudenkov. January 26 will be ALROSA day at the IJT: the events planned by ALROSA include a presentation, a media conference and dinner hosted by the Company. The heads of the delegation will meet representatives of diamond and jewellery manufacturing companies, Japan's government officials and MPs.

At its booth, along with the information on the company and its activities, ALROSA will display diamond jewellery from the well-known 'Diamond in the Russian Avant-Guarde' collection, created in collaboration by ALROSA and JT - Jewellery Theatre in 2001. The collection will for the first time be displayed in Asia. It contains over 2000 diamonds produced by ALROSA and cut and polished by Kristall Smolensk.
