“The agreements for gas supply to Ukraine for 2008 have been signed today. The accords achieved as regards the price of gas for Ukraine as well as the terms and conditions of gas transit create additional guarantees for stable Russian gas supplies to European consumers and are a logic mutually beneficial step aimed at shaping transparent market relations in the gas sector between Russia and Ukraine,” said Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee.
