The OJSC FETEC provided all Primorsky region election centers with communication of good quality.

Nikolay Maximenka, director of Primorsky branch of the OJSC FETEC says that 1203 election centers are provided with telephone communication where 13 centers have radio communication and 1190 with telephone communication.

13 radio stations and 983 telephones were installed in the region and 207 telephones were installed in Vladivostok; this corresponds to a number of election centers.

Also the OJSC FETEC ensures operation of GAS-Vibory Data-transmission network in Primorsky region allowing on-line supervision of votes’ counting. GAS-Vibory Data-transmission network segment of Primorsky region was attached to All-Russia network on November 29, 2003 and testing was a success, says Nikolay Maximenka.
