Collective Agreement for 2010 is adopted

On January 14 the Conference of labor collective took place at OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim where implementation of 2009 Collective Agreement was summed up and document  governing collective-administration relationship for the year of 2010 was adopted.

V. Busygin, Director General of OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim, reported on financial and economic activity of the company in financial year.

In the elapsed year the company turned out finished products to a tune of  RUR 57 billion approx., expected sales profit amounted to RUR 2.9 billion. Precrisis total production volume has been reached due to implementation of anti-recessionary measures in the third-fourth quarters. «Recovery» has occurred primarily owing to growth of export sales. The greatest share of export profit was for synthetic rubbers – 63 %, cumulative share of plastics equaled to 14% of products exported. Total proceeds from export sales in 2009 amounted to USD 1 billion, i.e. had reached the level of 2006-2007.

For the accounting period RUR 3 billion of capital was invested including construction and erection works. 230 kt/a PE production plant was put into operation in February 2009, thus helping to increase the total capacity of plastics production up to 610 kt/a. Two new SRT-VI cracking heaters were erected at the ethylene plant. In “Kamskiye Polyany” industrial park 1 kt/a multifilament yarn and 9 kt/a stretch film production units were launched.

RUR 3.7 billion of taxes were paid to budgets of all levels, including RUR 978 million to budget of Tatarstan Republic and RUR 609 million to the local budget, that is RUR 216 million more than in the previous year.  

Average monthly wage rate at the end of 2009 amounted to RUR 22 thousand.  

All the bonuses, premiums and lumpsum fees covered by Collective Agreement were paid. Pensioners received pension supplements, fees on holidays and personal anniversaries.

According to Provision of the Collective Agreement one hundred young families were granted essential commodities purchasing loans to the total amount of RUR 5 million.

The young workers who came back to the enterprise after service in the army were paid an allowance on appointment at the rate of RUR 5 thousand, new hired employees got RUR 3 thousand.  

For the reporting year more than 7.5 thousand workers and members of their families recuperated their health and enjoyed leisure time at “Korabelnaya Roscha” sanatorium-dispensary, “Dubravushka” recreation camp and “Yunost” children recreation camp. 

All privileges and rewards granted under Collective Agreement for the past year amounted to RUR 211 million approximately.

In 2009 general financing of non-industrial facilities construction   amounted to RUR 271 million, RUR 220 million of which went for housing construction. In the Collective Agreement for 2010 it is planned to allocate RUR 250 million for house building.

Within the framework of measures on reduction of environmental impact the volume of harmful emissions was reduced to 1.5 thousand tons in comparison with 2008 and to 20 thousand tons for the last five years. Substantial reduction was achieved by substitution of process equipment for the advanced one and optimization of industrial processes.

The Chairman of the trade-union committee of OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim A.Khairullin reported on the implementation of Collective Agreement.

A.Metshin, Head of Nizhnekamsk municipal area, took part at the Conference.

The delegates of the Conference voted the collective agreement for 2009 abided and satisfied.

All privileges and rewards of the 2009 Agreement were retained in the document regulating employer-employee relations for the year 2010.
