"Rugrids-Electro" forum: Head of Rosseti discussed with partners prospects of cooperation and import substitution in the industry

On the sidelines of the International electric power industry forum "Rugrids-Electro" held in these days in Moscow, Director General of PJSC Rosseti Oleg Budargin met with heads of the major companies from a number of manufacturers of electrical equipment and construction organizations.

During the event, Oleg Budargin thanked all Russian and foreign colleagues for maintaining cooperation in the current environment, noting that over the past two years since the establishment of the company, Rosseti had not lost a single partner. "On the contrary, we just get more and it is a good sign for the electricity sector and the entire economy of the country," he added.

Head of Rosseti outlined the key priorities of the Group's operation in the current realities. The preservation of financial stability of the electricity sector was called by Oleg Budargin "the most important issue of today." A complex interaction with the regulator is maintained "to restore order in the tariff with the purpose of fair distribution between generation and networks." Equally important, according to the head of Rosseti, is to get long-term tariff regulation rules.

Separately Oleg Budargin raised the issue of localization of electrical equipment production in Russia.

The Head of Rosseti also noted that in the near future investment programs of the Company's subsidiaries will be reduced, but electricity companies will continue the modernization of the power grids sector, use the latest equipment, move from open distribution units to HVGIS and construction of substations of closed type in order to minimize possible impact of external factors on the reliability of work and reduce the area of power facilities. In this regard, the company considers it necessary to go through difficult times together with partners, so as not to lose the established contacts and to provide maximum support to each other.

Partners from different countries confirmed their readiness to continue cooperation with the Rosseti Group, and expressed support of the idea of establishment of long-term rules and entering into multi-annual contracts.
