The awards ceremony for the winners of the national Company of the Year prize, arranged by RosBusinessConsulting information agency, was held yesterday in the newly erected House of Music in the center of Moscow.

Severstal was a winner in the Ferrous Metallurgy nomination of this national competition and left behind both of its competitors - Novolipetsk and Magnitogorsk steel mills as well as other industry's enterprises. The awards were given by an expert council, which included Arkady Volsky, Head of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Valery Fadeev, Head of the Russian Expert magazine, Tatyana Paramonova of Cenrobank, Andrey Illarionov, advisor to the President, Vladimir Posner, well known TV talk show host, Alla Gryasnova, rector of the Financial Academy of the Russian Government.
