Moscow. 25 November 2005. The Mass Media Relations Department of the Corporate Center of RAO "UES of Russia" has been awarded the Grand Prix of the "Silver Tuning Fork" National Awards as the Most Efficient Public Relations Unit in Russia.

The awards ceremony was held as part of the Forum of PR and Press-Service Heads that took place at the All-Russia Exhibition Center. The winners were determined in six categories, and only one media relations unit became an "absolute winner" and received the Grand Prix. This year, the Expert Council of the "Silver Tuning Fork" Awards named the Mass Media Relations Department of RAO "UES of Russia" an absolute winner, appreciating the work done by the Department to ensure information transparency of the electricity company and the successful implementation of a number of large-scale federal PR campaigns.
