FETEC (Dalsvyaz) started construction of fiber-optical communication line 190 km long from Birobidzhan to Leninskoye village of Jewish autonomous region. It will track through almost all villages of Birobidzhan district and nine villages of Leninsky district of JAR.
Project cost is over 30 million rubles. Digital ATX will be installed in all villages where fiver-optical communication line passes. Specialized column convoys of OJSC Dalsvyazstroy are engaged in construction. One of them has already laid out a cable on a two kilometer long site and other will start working within the next few days. Constructors undertook to complete the work by the middle of August of 2004.
According to Nikolay Veretennikov, head of OJSC FETC (Dalsvyaz) branch in Jewish autonomous region construction of fiber-optical communication line is operators’ present on the occasion of the seventieth anniversary of Jewish autonomous region celebrated in September.
Sergey Lavruk, head of Leninsky district of Jewish autonomous region highly appreciated the project. According to him it is a very significant project for the whole district. “In substance we are reaching an absolutely new communications development level. «Optics» will give an opportunity to people of our villages to use quality telecommunication, data transmission system and the Internet”, -said Sergey Lavruk.
This project implementation will enable OJSC FETEC (Dalsvyaz) to plan installation of fiber-optical line in other districts of JAR.
