North-West Telecom became the winner of the 13th Annual Federal Contest of Annual Reports and Websites in the nomination “Best Annual Report in the Telecommunications Industry.” The contest was sponsored by the Securities Market magazine and the RF Ministry of Finance, with the MICEX stock exchange as the official partner of the contest. In all, about 100 companies participated in the contest. On the jury list were the leading experts of such entities as MICEX, Russian Institute of Directors, Interfax Business Service JSC, Independent Directors Association, PARTAD, ARFI, NAUFOR, Standard & Poor`s, Akopov: Design & Advertising design studio, and representatives of the Federal Service for Financial Markets.

In the contest of the 2009 annual reports managed by the Expert RA rating agency, North-West Telecom became the winner in the nomination “Best disclosure of information on the company’s social and environmental activities in the annual report.” This year, 105 companies of various industries and Russian regions participated in the contest. Handing the award to the N.W.Telecom representative, Igor Belikov, General Manager of the Russian Institute of Directors, commented that he knew firsthand about the “great attention the Company pays to its social policy, realizing its role in the region’s development.”

It should be remembered that previously, N.W.Telecom’s 2009 annual report was also highly appreciated at the 7th annual open contest of annual reports of the Krasnodar Territory Administration, and became a winner of the 4th contest of annual reports and corporate websites in St. Petersburg sponsored by the Artcenturios image company with the informational support by the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
