Gazprom’s Headquarters hosted a Session of the Steering Committee of the International Business Meeting “Diagnostics-2004”, to be held on 19-23 April 2004 in the city of Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt). The Session was held by Alexander Ananenkov, Deputy Chairman of Gazprom’s Management Committee and Chairman of the Steering Committee of the International Business Meeting “Diagnostics-2004”.
Ruhrgas (Germany), Wintershall AG (Germany) and Gaz de France’s representatives also took part in the Session.
The International Business Meetings dedicated to the diagnostics of the gas industry facilities, energy utilities and gas processing equipment have been conducted on a year-to-year basis, starting from 1991. Gazprom and its subsidiary Orgenergogaz have been acting as co-arrangers for these Meetings.
The Meetings are held for the oil and gas companies’ heads and experts, scientists, the designing companies’ representatives and the diagnostic equipment producers.
378 specialists from 14 countries took part in the “Diagnostics-2003” Meeting. The “Diagnostics-2004” is planned to host over 400 participants and will be held under the slogan “The diagnostics is a guarantee for security, economic effectiveness and ecological safety of gas transmission in the 21st century”.
Orgenergogaz specializes in inspecting pipelines, organizing maintenance and service works. The company’s specialists participated in designing and launching the Soyuz, Urengoi–Pomary–Uzhgorod, Yamal-Europe and Blue Stream gas pipelines, conducted works at the oil and gas industry facilities in Algeria, Libya, Iraq, Poland, Bulgaria and other countries.
