Reorganization of the Quality Management System is the most important event of the year for KAMAZ-Metallurgy Inc.

Within 19-22 April 2004 the TUV CERT Certification Body will be auditing QMS of KAMAZ-Metallurgy Inc. and its compliance to DIN EN ISO 9001: 2000. At the same time there is also being carried out a full-scale preliminary work on certification in accordance with GOST R ISO 9001 (version 2001) Russian National Standard. Auditing will be performed by a “Russian Register” company, which will certify all KAMAZ Inc.’s subsidiaries.

KAMAZ-Metallurgy Inc is carrying out significant research and development activities, and introducing new advanced technologies at the production facilities. Together with FOSECO company there are currently introduced and processed new higher quality materials. Engineers of the Foundries expect much from the new HWS computerized molding line. CARL ZEISS gauging machine will start operating at the Forging plant soon.
