The contest covered 42 nominations in two options: “Professional Engineers” and “Engineering of the Young”. Around 600 candidates including those representing Nizhnekamskneftekhim Inc were chosen from 11,000.

Per the results of the first round in the “Professional Engineers” contest, a title of “Professional Engineer of Russia” with certificates presented was conferred on: O. Trifonova – R&D Engineer and G. Sibagatullin – Head of Production & Technical Section of Synthetic Isoprene Rubber Plant in “Chemistry” nomination, N. Bobyleva – Head of Technical Control Department Laboratory in “Quality Management” nomination, M. Nasyirov – Head of Design Department Section in “Mechanical Engineering” nomination. In the “Engineering of the Young” contest, certificates of “Winner in the first round of the All-Russian contest “Engineer of the Year” were conferred on: R. Gilymullin - R&D Engineer in “Chemistry” nomination, A. Vdovinov – Program Engineer in nomination “Informatics, information network, computer engineering”, S. Vyatchannikov – Design Engineer in “Mechanical Engineering” nomination.

Per the results of the final round in “Chemistry” nomination, the winner per the first option was R. Galimzyanov – Head of Production & Technical Section of Styrene Plant, per the second option - V. Latfullin, Section Head. Both were honored with certificates dignifying each as “Professional Engineer of Russia” and memento medals enlisting them in the Registry of Professional engineers of Russia .
