IncetecPivot, an Australian company selling mineral fertilizers, praises the quality of products, level of management and production at Uralkali

IncetecPivot is the largest Australian seller of mineral fertilizers, controlling a considerable part of the national market. The Australian market is characterized by very high requirements to the quality of products and by quarantine barriers. In order to preserve the natural balance the Australian authorities have banned the import of grain, soil, some organic substances. Until recently such stiff restrictions made Australia inaccessible for Russian producers of fertilizers. However, now the situation has changed: Uralkali has mastered the world quality standards and, as a result, Australian traders show a great interest in this company.

Uralkali was visited by Melinda Rich, Director for Deliveries of IncetecPivot. Because the Australian company regards Uralkali as its future partner, Melinda Rich wanted to make sure that the products were isolated from extraneous organic substances at all stages of production, shipment and transportation. Ms Rich carefully studied the entire technological chain. She paid special attention to the granulation process, storage conditions of fertilizers and loading into railway cars. What she saw quite satisfied her and she made no critical remarks.

"For us it is very importance that Uralkali meets all quality requirements," said Melinda Rich. "The level of management and operation of the company fully conforms to the world standards. The company uses the advanced methods in production and delivery of products. Today's visit is the beginning of the partnership and I think that it will be followed by an important event: the delivery of Uralkali products to the Australian market. I think our cooperation has a great future."

Of course, partnership with Incetec will raise Uralkali's rating among other suppliers because the very presence on the Australian market is the best reference for any company. At present, Uralkali abides by the concept of total quality control, carries out tests of finished products when they are to be shipped. Its specialists are constantly analyzing the demands and new requirements of consumers on the world market.

"The Incetec visit has resulted from the work on the accomplishment of the strategic task facing the company," says Maxim Bakshinsky, General Director of Uralkali. "In the present-day world it is not enough to produce a product: it is also necessary to be able to sell it, particularly, in the presence of severe market competition, which is the case with potassium fertilizers. The visit of the Australian delegation is an event of extremely high importance. By building an independent sales and logistics system we have achieved what seemed impossible a mere few years ago. Now, we do not have to attract buyers. They are themselves showing an increasingly active interest in our products which meet the most exacting requirements."
