The first five heavy-duty KAMAZ-65225 trucks have been assembled in January at the Assembly Plant and shipped to “UralTransGas” company. It is planned to assemble another batch of 10 units in February. Another recently assembled pilot batch of KAMAZ-6460 trucks with a right steering wheel is being trimmed for export to India.

Award for Quality

Upon results of the “National Security-2003” International contest that has taken place in Moscow in the context of the 7th International “InterPolitech-2003” Exhibition, KAMAZ Inc. has been awarded at it with a “Warrantee of Quality and Security ” medal and a certificate. KAMAZ Inc has been singled out for developing and launching into production of a KAMAZ-43162 truck with a 4x4 wheel arrangement, KAMAZ-5350 (6x6), and a fire fighting tank A?-5-40 based on a KAMAZ-43114 chassis. Academician Gennady Voronin, the President of the Russian National Quality Committee, who was heading the contest, signed the certificate.
