The inter-regional company JSC CenterTelecom has held the first, week-long, training and guidance seminar for its affiliate companies' press service and public relations leadership at the corporate Training Center.
The seminar was organized and conducted by the JSC CenterTelecom Information Support Department. Both the leaders of the Company's General Management Office and the external lecturers whose professional occupation is theoretical and practical aspects of the telecommunications business, took part in the event.
The seminar participants discussed in detail strategic goals and objectives of an integrated information policy to be pursued by CenterTelecom, and a variety of questions relating to creation of a positive information ambience of the Company. Practical training in telecommunications technologies application, topical "round table" discussions, and interaction-of-mass-media case studies were conducted at the seminar.
"It is highly important for us to set up a strong professional team and develop a Corporate Activity Unified Information Supervision Program. Special emphasis should be currently placed on securing coordination and efficient team-up of all CenterTelecom affiliates", Mr. Alexey Teplyakov, the Company's Information Support Department Director stressed.
The seminar participants exchanged their experiences in working with specific segments of the public, viz information mass media, shareholders and investors, and with government authorities.
The JSC Svyazinvest Information Support Department Director Mr. Oleg Mikhailov noted that the employees of the largest telecommunications company of this country's Central Federal District, JSC CenterTelecom, have vast professional experience and creative potential. This is corroborated by the professional efficiency testing of the public relations employees within the Svyazinvest Holding: out of the 13 highest-grade PR specialists, 7 persons are JSC CenterTelecom staff-members.
