Moscow, Russia - October 13, 2014 - Sistema JSFC ("Sistema") (LSE: SSA), the largest publicly-traded diversified holding company in Russia and the CIS, announces that the contract made by its 100% owned subsidiary, Sistema Finance OJSC, for the acquisition of 162,837,500 Sistema ordinary shares for RUB 7.6 billion that was announced on July 18, 2014, has been terminated and therefore will not be completed. Sistema is assessing potential liabilities and will update the market if and when appropriate.
