Representatives of IDGC of Volga, PJSC took part in the annual the Rugrids-Electro International Energy Forum that took place at the International Trade Center in Moscow on October 18 -19, 2016. The Forum is hosted by Rosseti, PJSC with the support of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, the Russian Energy Agency and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

During two days of the Forum, employees of IDGC of Volga, PJSC hold meetings with their peers from other subsidiaries and affiliates of Rosseti, PJSC and manufacturers of electrical machinery, materials and technologies, took part in discussions and round-table talks on issues related to power production, distribution and effective management.

During the Innovations Podium event held as part of the Forum, subsidiaries and affiliates of Rosseti, PJSC presented their innovative solutions. Guests and participants of the Forum were especially interested in a device for detection of combustible gases emitted from gas-filled relays of power transformers (DDCG), designed as part of implementation of R&D efforts of IDGC of Volga, PJSC. The DDCG is a mobile device designed to detect H2 contents and the total concentration of carbohydrates (TCCH) emitted from gas-filled relays of power transformers. The device enables to perform express analysis of gases in the field environment, directly upon taking gas samples from oil-filled relays.

R&D efforts of IDGC of Volga, PJSC were highly appraised by hosts of the Forum and received the Diploma for taking part in the Innovations Podium – 2016 exhibition. Besides, representatives of IDGC of Volga, PJSC received letters of gratitude for participation in the All-Russia Contest of Innovative Projects and Solutions knows as Energoproryvn ("Energy Breakthrough – 2016").
