AO MOSENERGO has coordinated the trial heating schedule with the Moscow Utilities Department. AO MOSENERGO started to supply heat to orphanages, kindergartens, schools, medical institutions and other social-purpose institutions. After that AO MOSENERGO will turn on heating in residential buildings, and in last turn, at administrative buildings and industrial facilities.

Usually, trial heating means the beginning of the heating season. After the end of the trial heating the heat is supplied to the social-purpose institutions on the continuous basis, unless drastic warming takes place.

In general, the trial heating lasts for 8-10 days. During that time, the heating system is checked for possible breakdowns. In October, the special commission is to issue to AO MOSENERGO a so-called certificate of readiness for heating season.

The final decision to start the heating season (the continuous heat supply to all municipal facilities) is taken by the Moscow government. Usually it happens when the air temperature does not exceed +8C for three-four days.
