The main subject of this year Forum: "Partnership for prosperity and safety". According to Mr. Mordashov, the motto of the forthcoming summit is well grounded and justified. "The main conditions for successful business development are stability and safety. On the other hand, economic prosperity is necessary for stability and safety in the world. They can not be dealt with separately", Alexey Mordashov said.

On the first day of the Forum, Mr. Mordashov will take part in the Meeting of heads of metallurgical and mining industry on EU enlargement and the role of Russia in that process. "I expect the meeting will be very interesting, - Mr. Mordashov points out. - It is clearly evident today that the success of Russian steelmaking companies development depends on the extent to which they succeed in the integration into world market and in taking part in the process of globalisation". According to the head of Severstal Group, "EU market, within its both current and future boundaries, is very promising, so the meeting will be very useful for ourselves as well as for our foreign partners".

On January, 23, Alexey Mordashov will participate in a session on corporate management. "Davos forum traditionally pays much attention to that subject", - Mr. Mordashov pointed out. - "In my judgement, Russian business has achieved some positive results in that field so far, but there is no ideal corporate management model, so experience exchange could be very fruitful".

Besides, Alexey Mordashov is planning to take part in working lunch "What is next for Russia?" and in a winter meeting of International Business Council, being a member of it.
