Moscow. 21 January 2004. Today, the Chairman of the Management Board of RAO "UES of Russia" Anatoly Chubais flies to Davos to take part in World Economic Forum.

RAO UES CEO will take part in the international meeting of senior executives of the energy business within the framework of the Davos Forum. He will have discussions with his foreign colleagues the prospects of the electricity market in Russia and the problems relating to ensuring secure operation of electric energy systems.

Anatoly Chubais will also take part in the discussion of the consequences the EU expansion for the neighbouring countries.

It is planned that UES CEO will hold a series of personal meetings in Davos, including a meeting Georgia's President Mikhail Saakashvili, Prime Minister of Turkey Resep Erdogan, and leading western businessmen to consult on the prospects of cooperation with the Russian energy company.
