Alexander Ryumin has been appointed by MMC Kola’s Board of Directors to the post of General Director.  Mr. Ryumin was formerly Advisor to the General Director of MMC Norilsk Nickel.

In the words of Ralph T. Morgan, Deputy General Director and Deputy Chairman of MMC Norilsk Nickel’s Management Board – “This decision reflects our corporate policy of rotating personnel between our main production centres on the Taimyr and Kola peninsulas. We believe the experience they have accumulated should be a major factor in achieving the aims of the company’s development strategy.”
