Moscow, Russian Federation – Mobile TeleSystems OJSC (“MTS” – NYSE: MBT), the largest mobile phone operator in Russia and the CIS, announces that its consolidated subscriber base reached 79.12 million users on October 31, 2007.
During October 2007, MTS’ consolidated subscriber base increased by 1.15 million subscribers.
