Rating of a hundred largest Russian companies on capitalization was published by the agency “RBC. Rating”. TGC-9 is among “the most expensive” companies of the country. Capitalization of the company at the end of October was $736,2 million.

Stocks of Territorial Generating Company No.9 began to be sold at the largest Russian stock grounds PTC and MMVB in September. Securities of the energy company entered the list of outlisted securities.

OJSC “Territorial Generating Company No.9” was established during reforming of energy field and unites generating powers of three regions - Perm Territory, Sverdlovsk Region and Komi Republic. The main kinds of activity of TGC-9 are production of heat and electric power, transfer and implementation of heat. The company has successfully gone through the process of formation - in May, 2006 the company was joined by regional generating companies of Perm and Sverdlovsk regions. The completion of forming of TGC-9 by affiliating it with the assets of the regional generating company of Komi Republic is planned in 2007.

Territorial Generating Company No.9 has worked out a vast investment program aimed at the development of generating powers in the regions of industrial presence. Altogether by 2010 the company plans to introduce 1,9 thousand megawatt of electric power and 2,1 thousand Gkal/hour of heat power, the estimated cost of an investment program of the company is estimated in 62,6 billion RUR.

Among the priority-driven investment projects of TGC-9 is construction of Novo-Bogoslovskaya HPP with the installed electric capacity of 1000 megawatt and the heat power of 1120 Gkal/hour in Sverdlovsk region, construction of Novo-Bereznikovskaya HPP with electric power of 418 megawatt on Perm Territory and also reconstruction of Permskaya HPP-6 with the increase of the installed electric power on 150 megawatt, heat power on 212 Gkal/hour.
