Turbine machinist with the handwheel attained the necessary characteristics. The automatic system replaced the handwheel for buttons. The staff’s labour became more comfortable – all information was shown on the display, electronics controls the necessary conditions during the launching of the turbine, follows the loads.

Reliability and accuracy of maintenance of technological characteristics of the turbine were increased - speed of rotation, steam pressure. That’s why possible peak loads won’t be a disturbance for heating of Ekaterinburg consumers.

Joint authors of powermen during the introduction of the innovation became specialists of “Uralturbo”, Sverdlovsk energy service company. The next is automation of operation of turbogenerator No.3. The production project for it has already been prepared.
