Perm, November 9th, 2006. In Berezniki they have finished works on construction of a new gas conduit that will supply HPP-10, branch of TGC-9, with fuel.
Works on construction of a new gas conduit at HPP-10 in Berezniki started on October 30th and were executed during a week. On November 8th at the constructed gas conduit they successfully carried out the embedding under the pressure of 7 atmospheres, at night from November 8th to November 9th a new part of the fuel main was connected with the feed system of HPP-10. During works on mortise joint of the gas conduit the station worked on black oil during one shift, it did not influence the amount of the reserve fuel that was stored up for going through the autumn-winter period.
The decision about the transfer of the existing gas conduit was made by the operative headquarters by the commission of emergency situations of Perm Territory. The necessity of transfer of the gas conduit is connected with the layer of new railway lines. The existing branch line is situated in the risk area, where the hole as a result of emergency conditions at BIPOD-1 of Uralkaliy is possible.
The transfer of 850 meters of the gas conduit was carried out in the shortest terms – during a week. The designing of the construction was made by specialists of Bereznikovskaya HPP-2 with the assistance of Perm developers.
To quicken the terms of execution of works and providing the high quality of construction of the gas conduit they attracted three contracting organizations.
