Director General of PJSC ROSSETI Mr. Livinskiy, took part in a working meeting of Minister of energy of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak with Director General of State Grid Corporation of China, Shu Anbao at the site of the Eastern economic forum.

Issues on cooperation development between two largest power grid corporations in the world were discussed as part of this meeting. In particular, further steps are being taken to establish a joint venture between PJSC ROSSETI and the State Grid Corporation of China to implement joint projects for the construction and modernization of electric power facilities using digital intellectual technologies both in Russia and in China.

One more aspect of the agenda on localization of Chinese partners production in the territory of the Russian Federation was the issue of the development of scientific and technical cooperation, including the development of joint R & D and their promotion not only in Russia and China, but also the export of digital solutions to the markets of third countries.

The Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, heads of PJSC ROSSETI and State Grid Corporation of China have also discussed the issues of digitalization of the electric grid complex of Russia, including potential pilot areas. With the purpose of creating conditions for the next step from consultations to further practical implementation of the intentions, Mr. Livinskiy made a proposal to consider the creation of a pilot site of digital technologies on the territory of the responsible subsidiary of PJSC ROSSETI - IDGC of Urals.

At the end of the meeting, the parties confirmed their interest in continuing bilateral collaboration.
