KAMAZ Inc. was announced a Russian Business Academy Award Winner-2004 in the “Russian Exporter” nomination. The “Darin”Award was handed to Sergey Kogoghin, Director General of KAMAZ Inc., at the ceremony in the Bolshoy Theatre on November 25, 2004. Presentation ceremony of “Darin” Russian Award has been held since 1995 and is granted to representatives of the Russian business for significant input into development and stabilization of entrepreneurship in Russia.

KAMAZ Inc. has been nominated as a “Darin” Award Winner for export not by chance. The Company is currently exporting one fifth of its production. For example, every fourth KAMAZ truck is assembled upon a customer’s order from overseas.

Monthly export volumes of trucks and their spare parts overlapped business plan targets in 2004. In October there were exported 619 out of 2247 trucks assembled that month. Since the beginning of the year there were exported 5 167 trucks out of 23 900 output totally. Thus, export business plan has been overfulfilled two months earlier before the end of the year.

The organizers of “Darin” Awards Ceremony were Russian Business Academy, Russian Association of Entrepreneurs, “Asmo-Press” Publishing House and the Bolshoy Theatre, where the ceremony is taking place traditionally.
