Northern Electric Grids Branch of JSC “MOESK” started the active phase of the current year repairs program implementation. For these goals they plan to direct RUR 561 million 787 thousand 700. In comparison with 2010 the financing will increase by almost RUR50 million.
The planned technical activities will be directed to the provision of the failure free power supply of the consumers and will influence the whole complex of the grid equipment and infrastructure. Thus, the considerable means (RUR 42,7 million) are meant for the implementation of the works in the grid of 35-220 kV (clearance of roads, substitution of the supporting constructions, wires and thunder protection wire). They allocated RUR 18 million to the increase of the reliability of lines of 6-10 kV (clearance of roads and mantling of the self-bearing insulated wire at the sites, going through the forest areas).
Summing up the results of the consequences of the unfavorable weather conditions of the autumn and winter period of 2010-2011 they planned RUR 203.3 million for the repair of the distribution grids. This will allow to repair 478,2 km of 0,4-6-10 kV lines, clear 405 hectares of the roads under the areal lines, substitute 4 515 insulators, 2 079 bearing constrictions, and build 269 km of the bearing insulated wire.
Over two first months of the current year the Northern electric Grids have already cleared 69,61 hectares of roads, substituted 14 bearing constructions of 35 kV, 4,7 km of wire and 1,5 km of thunder preventing wire under the overhead lines of 35-220 kV. Over the same period, in distribution grids of 6-10 kV they cleared 56,94 hectares of roads, substituted 248 bearing constructions and 37 km of the wire.
