Surgut –U?air Aviation is completing a deal on purchasing a regional air carrier. Despite reports of some mass media sources that this deal has been already accomplished, UTair Aviation is planning to announce the completion of this deal this September.

According to UTair General Director Andrey Martirosov, the owners of several regional airlines proposed UTair purchase them. However, UTair became interested only in one of them.

“The deal is currently in its final stage and we do not want to disclose information about its participants and other details until it is fully accomplished,” Martirosov said.

The UTair General Director pointed out that reports of some mass media sources mentioning the name of the acquired company were premature.
