At the RIF-2019 Forum, ROSSETI shared its plans for the development of its personnel potential.

On the second day of the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi, a round table was organized at the ROSSETI Territory. The participants of the round table discussed the best corporate practices of personnel training and personnel training and retraining systems.

During the session, the holding priorities related to the development of human resources were considered. These areas include creation of a unified competency assessment center, a corporate university, unification and automation of personnel management processes, and formation of the ‘energy teams’ chain aimed at the teenagers early vocational guidance.

Anastasia Bondarenko, State Secretary-Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, participated in the round-table meeting via videoconference. She was positive about the vector of ROSSETI personnel development and noted that fuel and energy sector’s companies must exchange experience in training employees. According to her, the Russian Ministry of Energy could provide a platform for such work.

“At present, the entire system of educational services is also in the process of transformation. Educational institutions are seeking for ways to develop.  Companies have their own plans.  It is very important that they meet each other,” Anastasia Bondarenko underlined.

Olga Sergeeva, Deputy Director General - Head of the Company's Office, predicted that "In the coming years, the power industry will change beyond recognition. “For the next 5 years, HR’s key task is to develop the existing human resources and create the future version as a platform for the sector to change qualitatively. Digital transformation dictates new requirements for the level of knowledge and professional training of personnel. We must introduce advanced HR practices everywhere as well as the models of work to develop our staff,” said Olga Sergeeva.

Arkady Zamoskovny, President of the ERA of Russia Association (Association of Electric Power Employers), also gave a high appraisal of the work carried out by ROSSETTI. In his mind, professional personnel play an almost decisive role in the process of digital transformation of the industry. "Today, ROSSETI is on the crest of a wave of change. "I especially emphasize the work that the company does in relation to school institutions. "This is extremely important because it allows involving children in the profession at an early age,” noted Arkady Zamoskovny.

In the framework of the round table, the best HR practices of ROSSETI’s subsidiaries were also presented. In the near future, many of them will be replicated in other enterprises of the holding. The participants of the session showed the greatest interest in the methods of multifactor assessment of personnel reliability, undergraduate programs in basic universities, as well as creation of a chain of so-called ‘recrumates’, which make it easier for job seekers to search for vacancies in a particular region.
