On the first of November 2006 "UTK" PJSC celebrates its fourth anniversary. After formation of the consolidated company telecommunication workers of the Southern federal district not only kept up best traditions but also made good progress in telecommunications development thus providing population of the district with full range of modern telecommunications services.

Due to fruitful work of thousands people, "UTK" PJSC today occupies  strong positions of a leading telecommunications operator in the Southern federal district and one of the largest telecommunication companies of Russia.  We are proud of the results achieved by the consolidated company: our subscriber base exceeds 4 million subscribers; digitization rate of our  networks is one of the highest in the telecommunications sector, volume of new services is promptly growing.

Last year we saw the beginning of the Internet - boom. The Company focused on rendering new telecommunications services based on broadband access technologies. The most noted project of 2005 was the promotion of  DISEL brand which had considerably increased sales of ADSL-based broadband Internet services.  DISEL was the first joint inter-regional project, which had proved the correctness of the Company’s sales strategy on telecommunication services.

In order to promote Internet services to the market "UTK" PJSC developed and put into practice another great project – multimedia Internet portal www.mediazona.ru.  The purpose of the project is to attract more customers by interesting and popular content.

"UTK" PJSC was among the first interregional companies to launch a most interesting and difficult project on rendering interactive digital cable television (IP-TV) services. Within the framework of this project the Company managed to integrate technologies of broadband access, TV, Internet and intelligent network. At present our customers can use their TV sets to receive TV and radio channels, information, entertainment and other services.

The Company also pays much attention to deployment of Wi-Fi Internet services, which are becoming more and more popular among customers. There are 15 Wi-Fi access points in Krasnodar hotels, cafes and airport. Besides, the Company started to form a uniform intelligent network and to introduce a universal service card under the brand «Card Number One» as a universal payment instrument throughout the licensed territory of "UTK" PJSC.
