The Gazprom headquarters hosted today a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company’s Management Committee and Yegor Borisov, President of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

The parties discussed the prospects for interaction under the Cooperation Agreement placing an emphasis on Gazprom’s involvement in socioeconomic development of Yakutia.

It was noted that Gazprom and the Yakutian Government would sign the Agreement defining the paramount areas of the said activities.

Pursuant to the document, the parties will be involved in the social infrastructure expansion for a number of Republic’s municipalities especially for those located within the Chayanda field development area. Facilitation of Yakutian citizens employment will be another crucial area of cooperation.
