IDGC of Volga won a silver medal in All-Russian Professional skills competition

Today, on August 3, the All-Russian Professional Skills Competition of teams for repair and maintenance of 110 kV transmission overhead lines was completed. The team of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti) was represented by “Orenburgenergo” branch. 15 Rosseti subsidiaries and a Rosneft team, RN-Yuganskneftegaz, participated in the competition. As a result of the competition, a bronze medal went to the team of Kubanenergo, PJSC among the teams on repair and maintenance of 110 kV overhead transmission lines. The team of IDGC of Volga, PJSC took the second place. The winner was a team of the host party Tyumenenergo, JSC. According to the senior judge of the competition Vasily Rozhkov, all participants showed a high level of preparation. This is evidenced by the fact that all teams began earning maximum scores and bonus points from the very first day despite the initial excitement and achieved the highest results 11 times in five days. “The main focus of the competition was on technological stages, at one of them a new development was used - a bolted connection clamp that allows to eliminate accidents much faster and to increase the reliability of the connection. Included in the program is an innovative stage -checking the status of lines using a 3D simulator, and, in principle, the team coped with it well”, said Vasily Rozhkov. The team of IDGC of Volga, PJSC showed excellent results at all stages. The maximum points were gained at the stage No. 1 “Checking the scientific and technical documentation knowledge: 200 of 200 points possible, the total time of the stage passing was 6 of 60 minutes possible. The master on operations of high voltage power transmission lines Viktor Neprokin passed this stage in a record fast time - 2 minutes. All the team members were at the competition of this level for the first time. Of course, they were worried. It was tough competitions. But everyone understood that the result of the entire team depends on his concrete actions. They gave their all”, told Vladimir Strizhakov, the IDGC of Volga PJSC team leader. Specialists of IDGC of Volga were also award-winning in individual nominations. The master on operations of high-voltage power transmission lines Viktor Neprokin was recognized as the best rules expert and the electrician on operations of high-voltage power transmission lines Andrey Goncharuk as the best electrician. “All participants have shown their skills, knowledge and potential. Everyone made a contribution in the general result. You all are the top-ranking specialists, no matter what results we see in the leaderboard, and they are generally high, - noted Deputy Chief Engineer of Rosseti, PJSC Ruslan Magadeev in award ceremony. - We all understand that the competition factor plays a considerable role during the stages passing. It is important that in real life you know and can everything and you prove it every day, providing the high level of the reliability for our grids. I want to emphasize that the judges determined the winners by results of the competition but there are no losers here. You all are winners. Congratulations!” As of June 2018, RT-Energotrading, LLC is still the major non-payer in Saratov region. The company has formed and continues to increase debt since June 2017. In June 2018, its debt approached 47 million rubles. A similar trend is observed with ESK Nezavisimost, LLC and EnergoService Povolzhye, LLC. The total debt of these counterparties exceeds 15 million rubles. IDGC of Volga, PJSC is ready for a constructive discussion to find the ways out of the current situation, however, the debtors-contractors ignore the problem. The only way to recover debts from such violators of the payment discipline is the judicial and prosecutorial activities, but the timing of receipt of funds is very high. Being a corporate citizen, IDGC of Volga, PJSC makes every effort to fully implement investment and repair programs, prepare for the autumn-winter period of 2018-2019 to ensure reliable and uninterrupted power supply to consumers. However, the problem of non-payments for power transmission services should be the subject of close attention not only of the power grid company, but also of authorities and security agencies, as it negatively affects the energy security and investment climate of the whole region.
