Since the turn of the year, the employees of “Ulyanovsk Distribution Grids”, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti), made 544 technological connections of the consumer facilities with the total maximum power of 8879.77 kW. A large number of the connected facilities are private houses, including those in a build-up suburban area and in the most remote settlements. The new customers of the branch were 369 physical and 175 legal entities, including socially significant and economically important objects for the region, industrial and agricultural enterprises. Among the objects connected to the power grids of the branch this year are street and road lighting facilities in Melekessky, Novomalyklinsky, Cherdaklinsky, Inzensky, Veshkaimsky and Staromainsky districts, a production building in the village of Bely Klyuch, a mill in Terengulsky district, an agricultural base in Staromaynsky district, a production base in Kuzovatovsky district, and garden associations in Ulyanovsk city and the Ulyanovsk region. In 2018, “Saratov Distribution Grids”, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti), keeps reconstructing power distribution networks in the district center of Ivanteevka with population of 6.5 thousand people. 526 ferroconcrete supports with 15.3 km of self-supporting wire are installed in the streets of the district center this year. Power receipt, conversion and distribution functions will be provided by 16 package transformer substations with a total capacity of 2155 kW. The control over power consumption by consumers will be provided by 546 two- and three-phase meters. For interruption of the electric grid, installation of one-, two- and three-pole circuit breakers is provided. Accounting devices and a cross-connect equipment will be placed in control panels accessible to controllers. The reconstruction of electric grids in Ivanteevka will lead to an improvement in the quality and reliability of the power supply to consumers. New electric grid equipment and materials will reduce power transmission lines operation costs and technical power losses. Self-supporting insulated wire will increase the safety of overheadlines for third parties and will eliminate commercial losses in the 0.4 kV electric grids.
