Today, on the 22nd of October, branches of IDGC of Volga, JSC - Saratov Distribution Grids, Samara Distribution Grids, Ulyanovsk Distribution Grids, Mordovenergo, Orenburgenergo, Penzaenergo, and Chuvashenergo – have received Certificates of Preparedness for autumn / winter season operation. General Director of IDGC of Volga, JSC Vladimir Ryabikin ceremoniously handed over documents attesting preparedness for operation during autumn / winter season to chief engineers of the branches. Receipt of a Preparedness Certificate crowns up hard work of IDGC of Volga, JSC branches for preparation to ensure uninterrupted quality consumer power supply within seven regions of Volga and Orenburg territories. In the course of reviews undergone by all the branches’ production divisions one evaluated the equipment condition and preparedness for operation under increased loads and under inclement weather conditions, timeliness and quality of repair and investment programs implementation, personnel skills and availability of an emergency reserve of materials and equipment. The high level of preparedness of the Company branches’ power grid assets was attested by decision of the Commission for review of the branches preparedness for operation during the 2010 / 2011 autumn / winter season.
