IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group) summarized the results of the repair program for the first half of 2017.The reporting figures show that the planned activities are being performed in line with the schedule.
From January to June 2017, the power engineers repaired 1,958.1 km of 35–110 kV power transmission lines and 5,780 km of 0.4–10 kV lines. In the course of the repairs 46,110 insulators, 5,731 supports and 319.6 km of wires were replaced on transmission line of all voltage classes. Repairs covered 194 substations of 35–10 kV, 1,357 power transformers of 35–110 kV, 1,676 switches of 6–110 kV, 484 isolating and short circuiting switches of 35–110 kV, 1,177 disconnectors of 35–110 kV and 3,616 package transformer substations of 6–10/0.4 kV.27 high-voltage wires were replaced. In implementation of the repair program much effort is put in clearing and widening ROW corridors.
High efficiency of works is achieved due to use of mulchers and other specialty vehicles. The total area of cleared corridors amounted to 1,790.2 ha. Implementation of the repair program in due times and in compliance with the applicable standards is a prerequisite of ensuring reliable operation of the energy facilities and stable power supply in the autumn-winter season 2017/2018 across the area of responsibility of IDGC of Volga, PJSC — seven regions of Volga Federal District.
