Moscow, 18 October 2006. On 17 October 2006, the Federal Service for Financial Markets of Russia (FSFM) registered share issues of OAO "Komi Regional Generation Company" and OAO "Komi Energy Retail Company" spun off from Komienergo. According to the companies' resolutions authorizing the share issuance, the following amounts of shares were issued:

OAO "Komi Regional Generation Company"

• 4,581,128,852 ordinary shares, par value RUB0.65 per share, for a total value of RUB2,977,733,754. The state registration number assigned to the share issue is 1-01-55238-E;
• 22,000,000 preferred shares, par value RUB0.62 per share, for a total value of RUB13,640,000. The state registration number assigned to the share issue is 2-01-55238-E.

OAO "Komi Energy Retail Company"

• 4,581,128,852 ordinary shares, par value RUB0.01 per share, for a total value of RUB45,811,288,52. The state registration number assigned to the share issue is 1-01-55237-E;
• 22,000,000 preferred shares, par value RUB0.01 per share, for a total value of RUB220,000. The state registration number assigned to the share issue is 2-01-55237-E.
