On June 19 at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Rosseti CEO Oleg Budargin and General Director of Mezhregionsoyuzenergo (MRSEN) Yuriy Shulgin signed an agreement to ensure the reliability of power supply in Arkhangelsk, Vologda, Sverdlovsk regions as well as in the Republic of Khakassia.

The document foresees that Rosseti and MRSEN will jointly create the conditions for financial stability and for the development of the power grid in the listed entities of the Federation.

Moreover, the companies are going to take measures regarding several spheres including the payment discipline improvement and creating a single responsibility centre to manage power grid sector. Two companies will also implement combined measures for consolidation of power grids assets in listed regions and will develop and co-promote rule-making initiatives that improve payment discipline and the calculation model in the electric power markets at the federal level.

Besides, single regulation of information exchange between the companies managed by Rosseti and MRSEN will be formed as well as a set of measures to strengthen the payment discipline of consumers will be implemented. The latter can be accomplished by improvement of processes of restriction of giving electric energy to consumers defaulters.
