Reconstruction of 110 kV Orskaya-Ochistnye power transmission line performed by Orenburgenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group), is underway in the east of the Orenburg Region. This section of the power line routed on the west side of Orsk energizes the municipal water treatment plants. The necessity of reconstruction was dictated by location of the power line - residential area. The project made allowance for severe geological environment: rock and half-rock mass, wind loads (the power line is exposed to frequent and intense wire swinging) and crossing with the existing utilities. The reconstruction campaign covers about 3.5 km of the power line. Orenburgenergo's personnel will install 27 poles and route 21 km of wires. The total cost of the project exceeds 14 million rubles. After completion of the reconstruction works and commissioning of the new line, the old power line will be dismounted.
